Dr_Cline_A

Dr. Bonnie Cline

Dr. Cline graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She began her veterinary career as a mixed animal practitioner in Franklin, Virginia. After several years of working in the States, Dr. Cline moved to Southern Africa, where she worked as both a veterinarian and a professor at the University of North West. Dr. Cline returned to the States, married a wonderful man, and spent a year working and traveling throughout Africa and Australia. She is now attending continuing education courses for abdominal and cardiac ultrasonography. Dr. Cline enjoys traveling, most outdoor activities, and raising her two beautiful children, Caleb and Sarah.

Dr. Tom Haney

Dr. Haney graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (VA Tech) in 1996. He started his veterinary career as a mixed animal practitioner in rural Dinwiddie County, Virginia. After getting married, he and his wife spent a year traveling and working throughout Africa and Australia. Dr. Haney joined Bon Air Animal Hospital full-time in 2005. His interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and general internal medicine. When not working, Dr. Haney enjoys spending time with his wife, Bonnie, and their two children, Caleb and Sarah. He enjoys running, fly-fishing, scuba diving, and just about any outdoor activity.

Dr_Lipstock_A

Dr. Seth Lipstock

Dr. Seth Lipstock was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He received his veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College, London, England. He completed his Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in 2002, and prior to his veterinary career, Dr. Lipstock was a tennis professional at Salisbury Country Club in Midlothian, VA. His veterinary interests are limitless and his enthusiasm for the trade is contagious. He, along with Dr. Cline, will also spay and castrate pet pigs and see sick chickens.

Dr. Lipstock is married to his wonderful, radiant, amazing, forgiving, nurturing, and also pretty wife and equally passionate Orioles baseball fan Elizabeth, and they have an exuberant son named Jack born in 2016. They, along with the other doctors of Bon Air Animal Hospital, live in the Bon Air region and appreciate its wonderful community appeal. Dr. Lipstock looks forward to the spring and summer when he gets to join his softball team on the field and walk around the James River Park System with his family. He and his wife also enjoy volunteering with the Dreamers Theater, a performing arts group for young adults with special needs.

Dr_Knott_A

Dr. Lauren Knott

Dr. Knott graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After practicing in Winston-Salem, NC for a few years, Dr. Knott is excited to be back in her hometown of Richmond, VA. She has a special interest in preventive and geriatric care, and is passionate about the human-animal bond. Bon Air Animal Hospital holds a special place for Dr. Knott, as she worked here as an assistant in high school and interned here during veterinary school. Dr. Knott shares her home with her husband Daniel, their dog Harlowe and their cat Mo. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Knott enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants around Richmond, and Virginia Tech football (Go Hokies!).

Daniel_Sharp

Dr. Daniel Sharp

Dr. Daniel Sharp graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 after obtaining his BS in Biology at William and Mary. He has spent the majority of his time since graduation at a small animal general practice in southwest Virginia. Dr. Sharp's medical interests encompass a wide range of areas, which is what drew him to general practice. He has a special interest in feline medicine, ultrasonography, and surgery. In his free time he enjoys exploring Richmond with his fiancée, biking, hiking, writing music, and training his cats to go on walks.

Deidre OMalley DVM

Dr. Deidre O'Malley

Dr. O'Malley is a recent transplant from Florida where she worked with the Tampa Bay Humane Society as a surgeon and internal medicine shelter veterinarian. She attended Ross University and NC State to obtain a DVM degree as well as the University of Florida for a Master's Certificate in Shelter Medicine. Additionally, her interest in Integrative medicine was acquired while attending the Chi Institute in Redding, Florida.

Dr. O'Malley brings a dedicated interest in senior pet pain mitigation utilizing both Western (cold laser therapy, medications) and Eastern (acupuncture) modalities.

Dr. O'Malley's other interests include gardening, hiking, golf, and spoiling the grand nephew and nieces.

Denise

Denise Sturgill

Denise Sturgill graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 1992 as a veterinary technician. She has been working with Bon Air Animal Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoys assisting in surgery and getting to interact with all the pets who come to the clinic. She is married to Tim Sturgill, and has two children, Katarina and Wyatt. Denise has two toy poodles, Jetta and Rivers, a Labradoodle named Trip, two cats, Elvis and Spooky, and an African Grey parrot named Peanut. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Danielle Marshall

Danielle graduated from San Juan College in 2021 after earning her degree in Veterinary Technology. Danielle has been at Bon Air since 2014 when she started as a Veterinary Assistant. Danielle enjoys radiology, dentistry, general patient care, and working with small livestock such as pigs and chickens. In her free time, she enjoys being with her two young children and her two cats Dodge and Ruger.

Hanna Parcell

Hanna graduated from Blue Ridge Community College Veterinary Technician program in May of 2023. She has been a lifelong advocate for animals and fosters for Richmond Animal Care and Control. She has two dogs, Daisy and Rosie, and two cats, Finnick and Buffy Summers. She looks forward to building a solid foundation with the fabulous Bon Air team and helping all of the areas animals.

Kasey Loehr

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Kasey graduated with an A.A.S in Veterinary Technology from San Juan College in 2022. She has been working with Bon Air Animal Hospital for seven years. She enjoys interacting with and caring for all patients that come into the clinic. She also enjoys dentistry, ultrasound, and laboratory. She has two pitties, Libee and Dottie, and two cats, Nala and Thumper. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fur babies.

Lillian is a recent graduate of Blue Ridge Community College Veterinary Technician program. She has a bearded dragon named Ishizu and a blue pitbull names Delilah. In her free time she enjoys traveling, crocheting, spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies.

Britney Denardo

Britney graduated from Blue Ridge Community College Veterinary Technician program in 2021. Britney lives in the country and owns a hobby farm. She has four dogs, two cats, one cockatoo, two horses, four goats, and two pigs. Animals are her passion.

Julia Stanton

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Julia graduated from Trinity Episcopal High School in 2001 and went on to earn her B.A. in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. With more than a decade of experience providing support to pet owners and their pets in veterinary hospital settings, Julia takes great pride in supervising Bon Air Animal Hospital’s staff to ensure that check-in and check-out procedures run smoothly. Julia currently lives in downtown Manchester with her husband, William, daughter Milou, and their teddy bear puppy, McGruff.  When she’s not in the office, you can find her out in her garden, spending time with family and friends and/or at home perfecting her favorite recipes.
